Engineering Design at WeatherTech

Fifteen Lockport Township High School engineering students recently visited WeatherTech’s corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility for an immersive, real-world look at engineering and manufacturing careers.

Coordinated by LTHS engineering teacher Corey Duzan, the field trip gave students the opportunity to learn about engineering careers, product development, and software while touring WeatherTech’s tooling, thermoforming, and injection molding operations. The experience connected classroom learning to the processes and technologies used in a professional engineering environment.

LTHS thanks WeatherTech for welcoming its students and staff and providing an engaging opportunity to explore the many possibilities within engineering and manufacturing.

🎥 Hear from Mr. Duzan about what this experience meant for him and his students in our video recap, which is available on YouTube.
