  • 40% of seniors scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam

  • 13% of seniors took five or more AP Exams

In addition, LTHS D205 offered the following in the 2024-25 school year:

  • 48 AP teachers

Dr. Lorie Cristofaro, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, said, "Lockport Township High School earning the Bronze honor is a true reflection of our collective commitment to excellence. It is a credit to our Board of Education for investing in rigorous programming, to our dedicated teachers who create engaging classrooms with high expectations and strong support, and to our students who embrace academic challenges with passion. Our AP Coordinators continually find innovative ways to support both teachers and students, ensuring the program’s ongoing success. This achievement proves that while the work is demanding, the endeavor is absolutely worth it—and I couldn’t be prouder of our Porters."

The district is incredibly proud of its students, teachers, and staff for their dedication to academic excellence and college readiness. This recognition reflects LTHS D205’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for all students to challenge themselves and prepare for success beyond high school.
