LTHS requires students in grades 9–11 to participate in the PreACT (a practice version of the ACT) on Tuesday, November 4, to build familiarity with the test format and develop test-taking confidence.
The PreACT testing this year will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Our schedule will be as follows:
Freshmen - PreACT 9
Sophomores - PreACT
Juniors - PreACT
Seniors - Community service/college visit day
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will end testing at approximately 10:30 a.m. and resume their day on an amended schedule. Seniors will not attend regular classes tomorrow. Instead, we encourage them to use the day for:
College or trade school visits
Career exploration or job shadowing
Community service or volunteer activities
