The process of enrolling and registering approximately a thousand freshmen each year requires the input of many people and takes almost a full year. We all have a part to play in ensuring that our newest Porters are off to a great start on their high school career.

LTHS Online Enrollment is now open for current 8th-grade students.

Steps to Becoming a Porter

WHEN: NOW - October 28

WHO: Parents/Guardians

WHAT: Complete the LTHS Online Enrollment Form. Click New Family Online Enrollment if this is your FIRST child to enroll at LTHS. If you are an existing LTHS family, log into your Parent Portal; look on left side menu for More, then choose ONLINE ENROLLMENT to enroll your 8th grader.

WHAT: Meetings are held with LTHS department chairs & junior high teachers to discuss placement requirements.

WHAT: PSAT 8/9 Placement Test administered in conjunction with the junior highs. This is a required test for all students. Please see your junior high for more information.

WHAT: Step Up Night: LTHS presents our in person open house for current 8th graders and families.

WHAT: Make appointment for your student’s school physical exam. Physicals are due July 1.

WHAT: LTHS will mail information regarding Parent Portal activation, student fees, Freshman Orientation, and ask you to complete the Online Residency Verification process. This is the time parents/guardians will need to prove residency.
