Reporting a Student's Absence:

Parents are required to call in to document their student's absence by 3:00 p.m. on the day the absence occurs. An automated phone call will be sent if a student is absent the first two periods of the day.

Option 1: Utilize Infinite Campus Parent Portal - Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, select More and Absence Request. You will need to select the name of the student, identify the type of absence (Full Day, Arrive Late or Leave Early) and the date, and click Submit.

Option 2: Contact the appropriate attendance office via phone for your students(s).

If a student will be arriving late, parents are required to call to document the reason and time the student will arrive using one of the options noted above.

If a student must leave early, parents are required to send a note with the student or use one of the options noted above documenting the reason and time the student should be released. Notes should be brought to the Attendance Office prior to the student’s first class. When a request is made using the options noted above, please allow time for staff to coordinate the student’s departure from class.

***Students may be placed on social suspension after 13 or more countable absences in 3 or more periods in 1 semester. See Student Handbook for full definition of countable absences.

 Any physician's note regarding specific health issues, illnesses, or test results must be sent to the appropriate Nurses Office.
