AP Exam Registration

It’s AP registration time. Please see the newly updated information below about how and when students can begin the registration process.

Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition. The AP test is an important learning experience that is integral to the overall AP class experience. To that end, Lockport Township High School would like to have all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they are currently enrolled in.

For the 2024 AP exams, students at Lockport Township High School will be registering online. Online Exam registration will begin on Tuesday, October 4, 2023, and end on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:59 PM. The AP exam registration process is two steps, but both can be completed in one sitting when the student and parent/guardian do this together. Both steps must be completed in order to have AP exams ordered:

  1. Begin the process by registering at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/142655. Here you will indicate both the AP courses you are taking this year and the exams you wish to take. You will receive your join codes and directions to complete the second required step. Any exam fees will be paid online so be sure to have a debit card or credit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing your payment.

  2. Please ensure that your student has completed the steps to enroll in AP Classroom.  In order to access AP Classroom your student received a code directly from your student’s teacher and can only be accessed by your student’s CollegeBoard Account.

This year each AP exam costs $102.00.  Students requiring financial assistance should contact Mr. Josh Oster, joster@lths.org, Mrs. Jillian Kaster, jkaster@lths.org, or Kelly Fetherling, kfetherling@lths.org at the East Campus to learn more.
