Club Description: Snowball is an organization for the purpose of providing opportunities for students to build self-esteem in a drug-free environment. Membership is open to all students. Student leaders meet on a regular basis in preparation for the main annual activity, the Annual Snowball, a 1-3 day event featuring speakers on topics of interest to teens, followed by small discussion groups which allow participants to express their views on the topics covered by the speakers or other topics they feel strongly about. The event is organized, planned, and staffed by members of Operation Snowball. The high school students also staff the Snowflake, which is held each year at the Junior High Schools. They plan to bring in a new activity for both the first and second semesters.
