  • Academic Planning and Graduation Requirements

    The Guidance Services Department assists students in planning and achieving their academic goals as they progress through Lockport Township High School.  Guidance counselors assist students in choosing coursework suited for their future goals and ensuring they meet graduation requirements.

    The Course Description Handbook offers a comprehensive list of the educational programs offered by LTHS.  It is available to assist students and their parents in the registration process to choose the most appropriate classes to prepare them for their long-term goals. Guidance counselors are available for consultation

    College Planning and Testing

    The Guidance Services Department provides a number of resources to help students to

    ♦ prepare for and take college entrance exams, such as ACT, SAT, PSAT/NMSQT or JJC testing.

    ♦ choose and apply to a technical college, community college or four-year university. Learn more through the College and Career Center, college & career visitscollege representative visits to East Campus.

    ♦ apply for scholarships and financial aid through FAFSA

    Wellness and Prevention

    The social and emotional wellness of our students is very important to us.  The Guidance Services staff of counselors, social workers, nurses and school psychologists provide a variety of services tailored to the needs of our students.
