Opt-In for Text Messaging
Lockport Township High School offers text messaging as part of its school notification system. This enables the school to quickly communicate urgent information, such as school closings.
There are two requirements for receiving text messages: the recipient’s mobile telephone number must be listed in the student information system database and the recipient must opt-in with the school's code.
Parents/Guardians with mobile numbers listed in the database can opt-in to receive text messages at any time by texting “Y” or “Yes” to the school’s code 67587.
To change or confirm the mobile telephone number that is currently registered in the student information system database, parents can contact the Registrar’s Office, East Campus (815) 588-8351 or (815) 588-8354, Freshmen Center (815) 588-8251.
