What if students have technical issues at home with their Chromebook?
Students should call the Help Desk at 815-588-8637 or email email@example.com for any technical assistance that is not physical damage. If assistance is not immediately available, any Windows or Apple computer with Chrome browser can be used to complete student work. Students only need to log into the Chrome browser with their LTHS login credentials.
What if a student has a Chromebook that is damaged?
Assistance is only available at East Campus, including Freshman. Students can enter at the main entrance security office, Door #4, bring your student ID. The Help Desk will be open for in-person help for all students Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm to assist with
- broken or damaged Chromebooks
- repaired Chromebooks that need to be picked up
- new/transfer students that need to get Chromebook/account information
The Help Desk is located in the Media Center at East Campus behind the circulation desk.
We will also be available by appointment for students who do not have transportation to East Campus during regular hours. Please contact the Help Desk at 815-588-8637 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
