Seal of Biliteracy
LTHS World Languages Department is pleased to offer the opportunity to achieve the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy. The Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy provides recognition to high school students who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, listening, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English. In order for students to be considered candidates for the Seal of Biliteracy, they must meet the established criteria for the award. Once the criteria have been met, students will receive the Seal of Biliteracy on their transcript and on their high school diploma.
