Course Description: This course covers various methods of making hand-built pottery including pinch, slab, coil, slip cast, extrusion, and mold making. Students will learn glazing and firing techniques and have opportunities to use these in developing larger and more unique pieces. The goal of this class is to explore the notion of beauty in design of ceramic construction.
