Course Description: This course provides a study of the role of consumers in the marketplace of our increasingly complex modern society and their interactions with business and governmental organizations. The course offers theoretical and practical application sin economic/financial matters (earning/careers, taxes, investments); buying/spending matters (housing, autos, insurance); consumer/social services (legal environment, credit, banking); and the social impacts across demographic and cross-cultural lines.
