    Course Description: This course consists of a full academic year of work in college level statistics and is comparable to courses taught in colleges and universities. This course will include the following topics: data analysis, probability, and interdisciplinary applications. Students will be exposed to the conceptual themes of exploring data, planning a study, anticipating patterns, and statistical inference. Additional topics will be covered as time permits. A variety of problems will be used to challenge an advanced mathematics student. In the spring, students may elect to take the Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics Exam (fee charged) for college credit. (A graphing calculator is required.)
