Course Description: This course is recommended for students in the Academic Program sequence of courses in mathematics. This course will cover descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. This course will include the following topics: averages, graphing data, standard deviation, variance, percentiles, probability, normal distributions, sample sizes, correlation, and regression. This branch of mathematics has numerous applications to business and computer science fields. (A graphing calculator is required.)
