Course Description: Business Innovation is a course designed to help students explore the world of business at an introductory level. In this project-based “Think Tank”, students will learn about business fundamentals by creating their own ideas and developing a product throughout the semester. Using creativity and a business plan, students will focus on core topics such as business operations, production, marketing, management, accounting, finance, and more. In addition to covering theory and applications, the course will use a business simulation to help students understand how the functional areas tie together while running a business.
