Course Description: Conceptual chemistry is a laboratory based chemistry course. The course covers the fundamental topics of chemistry such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, and chemical reactions. The course approaches chemistry conceptually as opposed to mathematically, although algebra skills are necessary. Some memorization of key terms and concepts are required and essential. Course content is taught through the use of lectures, demonstrations, and appropriate laboratory experiences.
