    Morning Common Time Tutoring days – District Teachers are in their assigned rooms and available to assist any student, without reservation, between 7:30 and 8:15 AM, on the following Thursdays:

    Maroon Days: Math, Social Studies, PE and Visual & Performing Arts

    White Days: English, Science, World Languages & Cultures, College & Career Applications and PE

    National Honor Society (NHS) tutoring program NHS students are available to tutor other LTHS students during study hall periods at East, and before or after school, for all district students.  The student in need of tutoring support should seek the NHS tutoring information from his/her Counselor in Guidance Services.  

    The Kitchen Table - Classroom 93 at East Campus will be open after school, 3:15 to 4:15 PM, Monday through Thursday of each week, for student use.  All LTHS students are welcome to bring homework to this location, in order to complete work in a quiet, work-conducive environment.  English and math teachers are available for homework assistance on certain days. Healthy snacks available free of charge.

    The current schedule is as follows.

    • English - Monday and Thursday
    • Math - Tuesday and Wednesday
    • Science Tutoring-Monday through Thursday


    Central Campus

    Central Campus Title I Tutoring – Adult Math Tutors are available before school at Central campus.   

    The current Math tutoring schedule is as follows:

    Monday 3:00 – 4:30 PM Room  317-Mrs. Weis

    Tuesday 7:15 – 8:15 AM Room 209A – Ms. Herman

    Wednesday 3:00 – 4:30 PM Room  317-Mrs. Weis

    Friday 7:15 – 8:15 AM Room 209A – Ms. Herman

    (Ms. Herman is at East Campus between 7:15 and 8:15 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week.)

    Voluntary Teacher Tutoring during Homeroom periods – Teachers will be available to tutor, at Central Campus, Monday through Thursday only, each week.  Students may seek out the support of these individuals according to the schedule below.  Central students simply report to the tutoring locations, instead of homeroom, on the days they desire tutoring support.  No need to report to homeroom on those days.

    Please note that tutoring does not take place on Fridays.  

    If a 6th period lunch/homeroom student wants to take advantage of Math or Biology tutoring, they are allowed to flip their lunch/homeroom period in order to take advantage of the schedule above, on a day to day basis, as tutoring is needed.  If the student chooses to do this, he/she must email his/her homeroom teacher earlier that day to inform him/her of this change.
