Summer School Program
LTHS offers summer school courses to all
high school students. Residents and non-residents of District 205 may enroll in
the program. However, because the Summer School Program is designed
for LTHS students, they will be given priority over non-LTHS
students in enrolling. Resident and non-resident tuition fees are payable in advance
and will not be refunded after the first day of classes
unless the class is cancelled because of insufficient
enrollment.
Courses are designed for students who
failed a class during the regular school term and need to
make up a credit in order to graduate or for students
wishing to take classes for personal value and enrichment. Courses offered are recognized for credit, except as
otherwise provided, and may be used to fulfill graduation
requirements. Credits may be transferred to other high schools.
Each day of summer school represents
approximately one week of regular school attendance. Any student who is absent from school for more than two
days will be considered as having withdrawn or automatically
will be given a failing grade for that course.
