Guidance Services

Mission Statement

The mission of the Lockport Township High School Guidance Services Department is to assist students in developing the competencies to live and to work effectively in a changing world. As a part of a school-wide focus, we will encourage students to pursue life-long learning and to understand the relationship between coursework and career/work place skills, as well as to relate college majors and other post-secondary training to career choices. Students will be given opportunities to develop significant and realistic goals for high school and future educational career endeavors by obtaining accurate information and guidance in the decision-making process.
