Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated every year at the end of October.  Consortium schools have a variety of activities to help kids remember the importance of staying drug free.  Contact your child's school to see how you can help.

Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention

The Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program was implemented in 2002.  High School students and community members are encouraged to remember that it is always OKAY to ask for help.

Bullying Prevention

By law, each school district must address the problem of bullying.  Check with your child's school to see how you can help.  Click on the icon to visit the National PTA's website on Bullying.

Drug Prevention Conference

Each November, selected drug free students from 8th grade and high school are invited to attend, IDEA, a leadership conference, bringing new skills back to their schools and communities.

Rainbows

The Consortium funds Rainbows training for school facilitators of this program designed at helping students deal with personal grief and loss.

Operation Snowball & Snowflake

"Your destiny is not determined by the chances you take, but rather by the choices you make."  The Operation Snowflake Program targets 8th grade students with leadership ability. Operation Snowball is for High school students.

Parent Education

Throughout the year, the Consortium offers education and awareness events for parents.
